Whit served as the Deputy State Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner of Georgia for 10 years before beginning J.W. Whitfield Consulting. He has extensive knowledge in the realm of insurance, but actively continues connections with key members of the General Assembly and other state agencies.

Amanda has been a key member of J.W. Whitfield Consulting since the start of the 2025-2026 legislative session. She is finishing her degree in political science and legal studies at Kennesaw State, whilst also expanding the firm to include fundraising and campaigning.
